Lv 10–160 · Kanata world · Lune, Henesys · 7 chapters
Lune stands in Henesys, between Mr. Moneybags and Maple TV. Her story is about the Pale Clown, the Jester and the far side of the moon. Each chapter opens at its level and needs the one before it.

Finish it for the Far-Sider medal. It also opens the Chaos world for every character on your account, and every world hears "<name> has found the way to the far side." (once per account).
Keep the Moon Mirror from chapter 1 in your inventory for the whole questline. If you lose it, Lune gives you a new one.
1 · The Pale Clown
Lv 10 · Lune, Henesys
Lune gives you the Moon Mirror.- Go to any hunting map (not a town, a boss room or an instance) and use the Mirror. It has a 10-second cooldown.
- If an Echo can hide on that map, it appears at least 400 px away. Only you can see it. The Mirror tells you how close you are:
- "The moon is quiet here." Far away.
- "You hear faint laughter." Within about 1200 px.
- "The laughter is close." Within about 600 px.
- "It's right beside you." Within about 250 px.
- Click your Pale Echo when you find it. Do this on three different maps, then go back to Lune.

Reward: 18,000 EXP
2 · Masks in the Dirt
Lv 30 · Lune
- Hunt near Perion with the Mirror in your inventory: Wooden Masks at Excavation Site: Initial Excavation Area, and Rocky Masks at Excavation Site: Excavation Completion Area.
Laughing Mask Shards drop only for you, about 25% of the time. You need the Mirror in your inventory for them.- About one pickup in six (when none of your echoes is already out), a shard giggles away. An echo takes it and hides by itself at least 400 px away, and the warmer/colder hints guide you to it. Don't use the Mirror there, because that just hides it somewhere else. Talk to the echo to get the shard back.
- Bring 20 Laughing Mask Shards to Lune.
Reward: 150,000 EXP · 20,000 mesos
3 · Star-Glass
Lv 60 · Lune
Hunt Star Pixies (Orbis: Cloud Park I or II) or Lunar Pixies (Cloud Park III or IV). They drop Star-Glass; you don't need the Mirror for this one.- Bring 10 Star-Glass to Lune. She opens a star board called The Jester's Crown.
Answer: connect the seven stars in order around the faint outline of a crown: left base → left point → left dip → tall centre point → right dip → right point → right base, then close it back to the first star.
Reward: 1,500,000 EXP · 100,000 mesos
4 · Rehearsal
Lv 90 · Lune sends you alone to the Cue Stage
- The show has 3 acts of 10 cues each, and each act lasts 45 seconds.
- Each cue names one of the Jester's old props: Jester Scarlion, Twisted Jester or Wooden Mask ("CUE: Wooden Mask!"). Only the called prop can be hurt. Killing it is applause: +10 points, and a fresh prop takes its place.
- Hitting the wrong prop with a single-target skill during a cue gets you booed. The first boo is free; each later one costs 5 points, at most once per cue. Skills that hit many monsters are never booed; they just don't hurt props that weren't called, so use them freely.
- You need 150 points by the end, about 15 kills. A cue never repeats twice in a row, and there's a short gap between cues to reposition. If you fail, talk to Lune to try again.
Reward: 7,200,000 EXP
5 · Encore
Lv 120 · Lune
- Use the Moon Mirror on a hunting map. Your Echo shows up with four riddles. Type the answers; case and spaces don't matter.
Answers
- "What face does everyone see, and no one sees the back of?" moon
- "In the old act, the pale one cried. What did the other one do?" laughed
- "If a star is a hole, what falls out of it?" glass
- "The show must go...?" on
- Then defeat the Kanata Chaos Jester once. He shows up by himself when you keep grinding the same field for about 10 minutes. A 2-minute break resets his timer.
- Both of his attacks give a 3-second warning. Emergency Disco is a ground wave that reaches 600 px: jump or leave its radius. Personal Space Inspection is a close burst of 220 px: back off.
- Dealing at least 30% of his HP also pays 1,000 NX.
Reward: 24,000,000 EXP
6 · The Other Face
Lv 140 · Lune sends you into Eclipse Descent
- You have 10 minutes. Light all five star-lanterns by clicking them from within about 250 px. Each lantern you light heals you for 30% of your max HP.

- Shadow hunters (Dark Wyverns) come in waves: 3 right away, then 5 at 2:00, 7 at 4:00, 9 at 6:00 and 11 at 8:00, never more than 12 alive. They always spawn away from lit lanterns.
- Any hunter that comes within about 150 px of a lit lantern burns away. So lit lanterns are safe spots: light them one after another and fall back to them.
- Dark portals are traps. Each one costs you 30 seconds, so avoid them.
Reward: 72,000,000 EXP
7 · Kanata
Lv 160 · Lune
Lune gives you the Ticket to the Far Side and explains the far side's rules: nothing is given, kept or bought, and you get three curtain calls.- Accept, and make room for the medal. Lune's parting words: "Break a leg. Don't break three."
Reward: the Far-Sider medal, and the Chaos world opens for your whole account.

Far-Sider: all stats +15, ATT and M.ATT +8, Max HP and MP +250.
Lune's other menu options: the Chaos Ledger (rewards you earned in Chaos, handed out on this side), The Wall of Masks (the fallen of Chaos) and the Hall of Records (your stats and the server rankings).
