PARTY QUEST OVERHAUL
Kanata Update • October 1, 2026
Everything that came with the party quest update and after it. All of it is already live.
New Party Quests
Ariant Coliseum
- Enter through the Dimensional Mirror. A waiting room stays open for 3 minutes, and whoever opened it starts the match.
- 2-6 competitors, 8-minute matches. Everyone gets 50 Element Rocks and 5 Bombs, and bombs knock jewels loose.
- Ranked results at the end. Queen Areda pays out, and 200 points gets you Abdullah's Palm Tree Beach Chair.
- One daily entry per match. Finish with no jewels and there's no pay.
Ludibrium Maze
- Find Rolly at the top of Ludibrium's clock tower. Parties of 3 or more, 15 minutes.
- You start in a random room. Open boxes to rouse monsters that drop tickets.
- Pietri pays 50 EXP a ticket, plus a reward for 30 or more.
Olivia's Halloween Party Quest
- During the Halloween event, the Steward sends you to the Hidden Hall for your level.
- Parties of 3-6 take on the Secret Room. Say "Olivia" to the mirror to call her out, and her dolls are your way to Olivia's Chair.
- The Halloween quests work again while the event is on.
Every Party Quest
- Your party stays together. A leader walking through a portal no longer drags everyone along, and a member who's busy gets warped as soon as they're free instead of the whole warp failing.
- The run clock shows on every party quest map.
- When the final boss dies you get 5 minutes to claim your rewards and head out.
- Every monster of a stage is there when the stage starts, and one-time monsters stay gone.
- Shared progress no longer gets lost when several members act at once (beakers, sigils, boxes, spears and more). This is what got Magatia and Crimsonwood Keep stuck.
- Stage items are cleared when you leave a run, and once when you enter one, so no more bringing passes and coupons in. Rice cakes, Amoria tickets and keys, the Keystone and Hearts, entry passes and the chest key stay.
- Members who leave or get kicked are sent out of the run. Dead members aren't warped in or charged an entry.
- Your fastest time counts from the real start of the run.
- Party quest record quests no longer show up in NPC quest menus.
- Every member now sees their own EXP from a stage clear.
Party Quest Fixes
Kerning City
- Lakelis offers the lobby in Kerning City again.
- Cloto's questions ask for the classic coupon counts: 10, 15, 20, 25 or 35.
Ludibrium
- Stage exits only open once the stage is cleared.
- After the Crack is sealed, everyone heads to Arturo's room for their reward.
Orbis
- The run lasts 60 minutes.
- 40 Feathers of Goddess get you the Goddess Wristband.
- Minerva's Blessing gives your reward, and the storage statues share one hidden count per run.
Henesys
- Growlie only counts rice cakes from your own run's Moon Bunny.
Pirate (Lord Pirate)
- Stage clocks of 4, 6, 6, 6, 6 and 8 minutes, side rooms 5:45 and 1:00, and the clock stops at Lord Pirate.
- Guon raises a chest in each room once the bellflowers are gone, and it drops Lord Pirate's Treasures for its quest.
- Lord Pirate drops the Key to Chest (4%), one key per kill for the party.
- Wonky blesses a party with five different classes.
- Lord Pirate's Hat comes at 30, 80, 200 and 350 clears.
- The Travel Diary drops from Davy's brown chests.
Ellin Forest
- The clock stops at the boss.
- Every rescue gives an Altaire Fragment, and 10 fragments make the earrings.
Amoria
- Every stage NPC offers the way out once your party can't have six anymore.
Magatia
- Dark lab exits open from inside when nobody from the run is left outside, the office door reopens, and the marbles stay.
- Beating the Angry Frankenroid unlocks the follow-up quests.
Crimsonwood Keep
- The Battle Statue gives its reward.
- Class rooms 15 minutes, the boss 90 minutes, the vault 1 minute.
- Every Twisted Master drops a Mark of Naricain for the party.
Guild Party Quest
- Stage 4's NPC works again, and Sharen's Soul gives +30 guild points once a run.
- The under-30 gate leads to the Devil Slime room.
- Finished or timed-out runs end on the Returning Path, and the waiting room's 93:00 clock is back.
Hoblin King
- Shammos's exit works, the escort keeps going with whoever's still in, and parties are 3-6.
Crimson Sky
- Chief Tatamo gives the Dragon Moss Extract during its quest.
Zakum
- Fixed an exploit in the Zakum prequest.
Monster Carnival
- The daily entry is charged once per match, and a lone player can't take a lobby.
- Drops aren't copied for every player.
- A fallen member comes back into the running match and loses 10 CP.
- Winners and losers go to their rooms with the end-of-match EXP.
- Season-one wins count for the Carnival title, and the Carnival 2 ranking titles can be earned.
Nett's Pyramid
- The result screen shows, with your rank on clears and fails.
- A run only fails when nobody's left in it, and parties play the party stages.
- Pharaoh's Blessing works and ends when you leave the stages.
Dusty Platform
- Solo and party clears end in the right place, and the Dusty Power Buffs end when you leave the stages.
Mu Lung Dojo
- Hits that land fill your energy gauge (up to 10,000), which powers the three special arts.
- Aran: the road to Mu Gong works: the Back Alley, Bellflower Hill and the Healthy Bellflower.
Sea of Fog
- One full party can set sail on its own, and a two-team race needs both leaders. Nobody gets drafted.
- Scarves go by participation.
Drops
- Monsters level 115 and up now drop for you even when you're more than 10 levels above them (was level 160 and up).
Forum
- Questline guides are up in Guides & Tips: every custom questline step by step, every answer and all the pictures. Start with the pinned Questline Guides: Start Here.
- No more character pictures on profiles, rankings, chat, posts and the online list. Everyone gets a colored letter instead, and character pages show your info as text.
- Rankings: separate Kanata and Chaos tabs. Staff, banned players and fallen Chaos characters don't rank anymore, ties go to the higher EXP, the fame pages are fixed, and Aran and Evan show under the right class.
- Search finds posts that only match in the text, and short or common words ("the", "HT") no longer make a search come up empty. Tags show in the results.
- Phones: profiles no longer run off the screen, and wide tables in posts scroll sideways.
- One account per player: to post, reply, edit, like, vote, chat or send messages, log into the game once with that account. Accounts that played before September 15 are already set. One forum account per PC: if you share a PC with family, message staff (you can always message staff).
- Change your login name in Settings > Account (your password is needed, once every 30 days). If your forum name or one of your character names is the same as your login, you'll see a reminder at the top: change it so nobody can see your login. New forum names and new characters can't use your login name.
- Forum chat: mutes and bans apply right away, even with the chat open.
- Images in posts can come from Discord, Tenor and Imgur.
- The report page can't show deleted posts anymore, "Open" on a notification works from every page, the online list splits Kanata and Chaos, and read-only mode also pauses likes and edits.
Security
- Stronger protection for the website and the game servers against floods and password guessing.
- The Item Trade Center no longer shows other players' login names.
- Staff can mute in-game chat. A muted player sees when the mute ends.
