A race across the world, one riddle at a time! When a GM starts a rally, be among the first to find all four checkpoints and win Kanata Coins.
Event Duration
- Rallies are started by staff at random times. Each one lasts 5 to 30 minutes, usually 15.
- When one starts, a fireworks banner shows on everyone's screen: "Kanata Rally: 15 min! Ask a Maple Administrator for your riddle!"
Requirements
- All characters in the Kanata world. No level requirement and no sign-up.
- Race on one character. Progress is per character, so switching characters starts you over, and each account can win only once per rally.
How to Participate
- When the banner shows, talk to any Maple Administrator and choose Kanata Rally. Any other lines in her list are old quests. She stands in most towns, like Henesys, Ellinia, Perion, Kerning City, Orbis, El Nath, Ludibrium, Leafre and Mu Lung.
- Read your riddle. The first line is a clue to the town, the second tells you the exact spot.
- Go there and find the Maple Mailbox. Only you can see it, and only in the town of your next checkpoint. Stand right next to it and click it to check in.
- Each mailbox gives you the next riddle. Find all 4 checkpoints in order to finish.
Event Details
- Everyone gets the same riddles in the same order, each in a different area.
- From 3 minutes after the start, the Maple Administrator also tells you the area of your checkpoint. Mailboxes don't give this hint, so go back to her if you're stuck.
- Can't see the mailbox? It only shows in the town of the checkpoint you're on, so a friend on another checkpoint sees a different one. Ask a Maple Administrator which checkpoint you're on. The teleport rock drops you at the town's entrance, so follow the riddle's second line to the spot. "Come a little closer!" means you're too far away.
- Your progress stays through a channel change or relog.
- The banner warns you at 5 minutes and 1 minute left. When time runs out, every mailbox disappears.
- Rally news only shows as the banner, not in chat. Missed it? Ask any Maple Administrator. She also shows how much time is left.
Rewards

- Each Kanata Coin exchanges for 1,030 DP at
@dps, and coins can be traded. - Onyx Apple: recovers 90% HP and MP and gives +100 W.ATT, +100 M.ATT and +20 W.DEF for 10 minutes.
Notes
- One prize per account per rally. A second character from the same account that finishes gets no prize.
- Make room before your last checkpoint: keep a free ETC slot (coins) and a free USE slot (the apple), because you won't know your place until you check in. With a full bag your finish doesn't count yet, and your place isn't held while you make room.
- GM accounts can race for fun, but they don't take a place or a prize.
- Staff may end a rally early.
- Event details may change. Any change will be posted here.
