PATCH NOTES & HOT FIXES 1.1

Kanata Update • October 12, 2026

The fixes and additions since the first patch notes, including yesterday's update. This update comes with a client patch, so close the game and let the launcher finish before you play.

October 11 restart: every existing account received 1 VP and 10,000 NX credit once.

Balance

Marksman

  • Snipe reaches 1,400% damage at level 30. Its level progression and cooldown remain consistent, including levels gained through Combat Orders.

GM Check & Fair Play

  • Being taken away for a GM check now preserves your hunting map's monsters, their remaining HP and its pending respawns.
  • Passing the check, having it canceled or reconnecting during it keeps the map ready for your return. Failing an enforced check or having a different player enter the map ends that hold and uses the usual reset rules. Mini Dungeon checks keep their existing flow.
  • Chaos Jester uses regular players' levels whenever any are present. A higher-level GM or admin watching the fight no longer raises the Jester's level.
  • Pet ignore and auto-sell settings in the character info window can only be changed for your own character's active pets.
  • Cleaned up 185 unused accounts and four characters on permanently banned accounts. The existing permanent bans remain in place.
  • Cleared the requested old login lockout during that cleanup.

Shops

  • Inkwell's Quest Point Shop now has an Ammunition category with 30 non-basic items: 15 throwing stars, eight bow/crossbow arrows and seven bullets, including Blaze and Glaze Capsules.
  • Each purchase gives one full base stack. Stars cost 3–10 QP, arrows 3–5 QP, and bullets/capsules 3–7 QP, with stronger ammunition costing more.
  • Existing shop items and prices stay the same. Throwing stars and bullets can still be recharged at regular shops.

Drops

  • @drops now handles monsters that share a name with another monster or an item. Choose the result you meant from the menu, and a monster's result shows that specific monster's drops and chances. Item names and numeric IDs keep working.

Events

  • Starting OX Quiz, Snowball, Coconut, Fitness or Ola Ola now sends a lightbulb invitation to online characters across that world's channels.
  • Click the lightbulb to accept or decline. Accepting joins the active event with its normal setup and remaining time; declining dismisses that run's invitation.
  • Invitations close when the event stops or finishes. An old prompt cannot join a later run, and invitation availability refreshes when you return to the game or change fields.
  • Kanata and Chaos keep separate event invitations. Kanata Rally keeps its existing flow.

Bug Fixes

Cash Equips & Medals

  • Imported cash equip effects now show on your own character as well as other players.
  • Corrected the alignment of many imported medal labels.

Pets

  • Restored the Pet Park cat basket and course objects. Double-clicking the basket during the existing Trainer's Command / Pet Instructor Test flow can give you the Hidden Note again.
  • Follow the Lead is unlocked by default, allowing up to three pets. New characters receive it immediately; existing characters receive it on their next login, and changing jobs keeps the unlock.

Gathering Bags

  • Eligible materials now fill their matching bag stack first when you pick them up manually or through pets, auto-pickup or pet-vac.
  • When that bag stack is full, extra materials go to your Etc inventory, even if the bag has empty slots. A different material can still start its own stack in an empty bag slot.
  • Bag contents, inventory overflow and any auto-sell proceeds save together, so a failed save cannot partly consume the pickup.

Shadower

  • Smokescreen now protects you and party members inside the smoke from monster attacks, including damage, MP drain and attack status effects.

Magician

  • Teleport Mastery now deals the damage it shows. Its hits were being treated as physical wand/staff swings, which cut the damage dealt to about 20%.
  • It now uses the correct magic damage, defense and immunity rules for Fire/Poison Mage, Ice/Lightning Mage, Priest, Battle Mage and Blaze Wizard.

Game

  • Fixed a repeated crash when closing the game.
  • Fixed a second crash in startup error reporting when the game application had not finished opening.
