Custom quest walkthroughs
All custom questline walkthroughs are already collected in Questline Guides: Start Here. Use that main thread for the full steps and puzzle answers.
The training chapters above highlight the useful EXP checkpoints and when to return. There is no need to repeat the walkthroughs here.
Chaos: the far side of your account
Chaos is an optional hardcore world. Finish The Far Side through its level-160 finale in Kanata, then choose Chaos from the world selection.
Your Chaos character starts its own journey. Three deaths end that character's run. Monsters are tougher, you cannot trade your way into a ready-made character, and normal account rentals do not follow you there.
Go in prepared. Check your potions, equipment and escape route before pushing unfamiliar content. A boss's entry level tells you when the door opens; it does not tell you that your character can safely clear it.
| In Chaos | What changes |
|---|---|
| Lives | Three. The third death ends the run. |
| Trading and shared economy | Trading, the Cash Shop and normal account services are sealed. |
| Starting supplies | No starting mesos; larger inventory tabs. Earn your equipment and supplies there. |
| Character slots | Two to begin with, with more available through Chaos goals. |
| Rewards for your main world | Earn Chaos Ledger goals here, then claim their rewards from Lune in Kanata. |
Some private story or puzzle rooms explicitly protect your lives. Treat ordinary hunting and boss fights as dangerous; do not assume every special map is safe.
Motley and the four masks
Find Motley, the Mask Keeper, in the main towns. A mask changes the balance of your run. Choose for the activity you are doing and the risk you can handle.
| Mask | Benefit | Trade-off |
|---|---|---|
| Greed | +40% mesos and drops | −25% EXP |
| Wrath | +20% damage dealt | +15% damage taken |
| Fear | −20% damage taken and +10 Speed | −20% damage dealt |
| Sorrow | +30% EXP | −40% mesos and drops |
Fear helps when survival matters more than speed. Sorrow suits EXP-focused training. Greed favours earning supplies, and Wrath demands more care around dangerous hits.
The Chaos Ledger
Chaos achievements are recorded for your account. Claim the earned equipment from Lune in the Kanata world, using the character you want to receive it on. The choices offered must fit that character.
| Goal | Reward direction |
|---|---|
| Reach levels 60, 100, 120 and 140 | Superior Gollux accessory choices. |
| Unbroken: reach 120 without a death | Sweetwater accessory choice and the Unbroken medal. |
| Acrobat: finish jump quests from four different families | Sweetwater accessory choice. |
| Solo Curtain: Zakum / Solo Curtain: Horntail | AbsoLab equipment choices. |
| The Long Show: defeat 10,000 monsters in Chaos | Another AbsoLab choice. |
| Clean Performance: solo Horntail without HP/MP potions or a life lost | Arcane Umbra choice. |
| Masquerade: defeat Pink Bean wearing Wrath | Arcane Umbra choice. |
| The Jester's Equal: defeat Chaos Horntail | Compatible Arcane Umbra weapon and a medal. |
| Curtain Call: reach level 200 | Curtain Caller medal and the Far Side Mantle. |
Sweetwater rewards are accessories, rather than another armor set to climb through. Take a moment to compare each choice before claiming it.
Challenger circuits
The Ledger also groups goals into three circuits: All-Rounder, Boss Circuit and Clean Circuit. Different Chaos characters on your account can contribute.
The circuit's Zakum and Horntail clears can be completed with a party, as long as each fighter qualifies for the boss rewards. A clean Horntail clear means no HP/MP potions and no lives lost; it is separate from the solo-only Clean Performance equipment goal.
Every completed circuit raises your Challenger rank, up to three. Each rank gives +10% STR, DEX, INT and LUK and +2% ATT/MATT in Kanata, or +5% EXP and mesos in Chaos. The circuit's item reward is claimed once from Lune; claiming it does not remove your rank.

Useful tools that remain available
In Chaos, the information commands @check, @drops, @boss, @gear and @achievements / @msr remain available. @dispose can still close a stuck conversation. Boss travel continues to follow its entrance rules.
Most service commands are sealed. In the Chaos Free Market, speak to John for the Potential Liner or Winky the Fairy for the Scroll Shop instead. Their normal costs still apply.
Read the map, watch your health and leave room to recover. Chaos is most rewarding when you treat staying alive as progress, not just the time between level-ups.
