THE KANATA GAME GUIDE

From your first character to your next lasting upgrade.

Welcome to Kanata. This guide covers the Kanata world, from level 10 to 250: where to train, how to gear without wasting money, what to run with friends, and how the custom systems fit together. Chaos has its own section because its rules are different.

Bellwether: The Address Market

New account? Start with First Steps, then follow the unfunded training and equipment routes. Already have gear and mesos? Use the funded notes to skip purchases you do not need. Funded means using existing in-game resources; it does not mean you need to donate.

2x EXP is mandatory preparation for the normal-world training routes in this guide. Keep it active whenever you hunt. A daily vote gives 4 VP: eight hours of 2x EXP costs only 2.5 VP. It doubles eligible hunting EXP, so training without it is a major avoidable slowdown. Quest turn-in EXP is separate and does not receive this rental multiplier.

The route at a glance

10-30: learn your attacks, pick up useful drops and start The Far Side if you enjoy story content.

30-70: follow worthwhile quest chains, use the class-appropriate gear that drops while hunting, and save most QP for later equipment.

70-120: find a map your class clears comfortably. Fill accessory slots, collect cards and save useful upgrade materials.

120-160: fourth job for most classes, stronger hunting grounds, Pensalir and Utgard drops, and your first regular boss groups.

160-200: work toward AbsoLab and Superior Gollux while improving the pieces you will keep. Mix hunting, PQs and bossing.

200-250: Bellwether hunting and weeklies, stronger bosses, The Unnamed Toll, and longer-term equipment and collection goals.

Your next upgrade does not have to be expensive. A better weapon, useful potential, an empty accessory slot filled, or a map you can clear more smoothly can matter more than chasing a perfect item.
